Q: Is the diameter at the top and bottom the same?

A: Hi Tom: No, the vials have a slight taper. They are slightly narrower at the bottom than at the top. This is the case with all plastic vials. The dimension we show on our website is the inside diameter at the mouth of the vial.

Q: do you have a top that is not a safety cap?

A: We only sell these jars with the push down and turn child resistant caps.
